Cunda Island is a great place for photography. It is full of subjects worth photographing. Cunda Island has a rich culture and history. It is a typical aegean town. Cunda is an isolated Aegean island, there’s only a few modern buildings. With the old empty buildings, narrow streets and two old churches, time is frozen in Cunda since 1923. In 1923 Cunda’s Greek population transferred to Greece in 1923 Population Exchange. This is why most of the houses in the island are empty. The culture and architectural structure of the island are kept as it was in 1923. I’m sure you’ll find a lot of good materials for photography. These are some of the pictures that i took during my cunda trip;

Cunda island is in the northwest coasts of Turkey. It is in Ayvalik Town which is in the borders of Balikesir / Turkey.
If you want to visit Cunda Island, you can take a bus from Istanbul to Ayvalik. Once you reach the Ayvalik, you can even walk to the Cunda (It is an island but there’s a road connection between Cunda and Ayvalik).
Hi i'm Erman, here you will find my works about photography and design. I hope you enjoy them. Thank you for visiting.
