There is a problem i experienced often when i’m going to a vacation or trip with my family or friends. I don’t know what to do! Enjoy the time with friends or family or try to take pictures. If i say i’ll do both most of the time i turn back to home empty handed in terms of photography. It is a terrible feeling, when people are having great time, i fell like i have to take pictures. I cannot focus at having fun or taking pictures so i usually miss each of them.

Determination is important at this point. If i go out saying “oh i’ll take a walk in the city and i’ll take pictures if i see something worthwhile.” i usually get nothing, but if i say “ok today i’ll take some good pictures in the city” i usually get good results or results that are close what i was expecting. So when you are going to the vacation, holiday or a walk in the city decide when you’ll take pictures, what will be your subject and don’t let anything distract you attention.

Also being alone increase the amount of better results. Even if they don’t say people usually get bored when you are taking pictures, and they don’t understand why it is taking so long to take pictures of a simple subject. Well i cannot blame them, they may be don’t know it takes time and attention to get the right shots. People getting bored because of you may increase the pressure on you and cause distract of you attention. Pressure and stress can directly effect your outcome. If you have a chance take pictures alone. If you don’t take only the patient people with you.

As a result being determinant has an important role on good pictures. Don’t say “maybe i’ll take some pictures today”. If you don’t feel good for taking pictures than don’t take pictures but if you want to photograph something, decide what it is, when you’ll take the pictures and go for it.
