Macro photography is close-up photography. Almost anything can be the subject of macro photography but the insects and flowers are the most common ones. Depth of field really narrow in macro photography so you must be careful about where to focus.

• Simplify the scene; get rid of any unnecessary things and focus on your subject.
• Fill the frame with your subject.
• Sharp focus is important at macro photography. Your pictures should be sharply focused.
• As i mentioned before depth of field is narrow in macro photography, natural backgrounds will be blurry and most of the time you don’t need any backdrop or something like that.
